Inspiring the Next Generation

The Bristol regularly work with local schools and colleges to help raise awareness of careers and opportunities within Hospitality and professional cookery.

We also support educational visits to the hotel for a behind the scenes tour and talk about the day-to-day operation and the variety of job roles available. Along with many school and college groups, we extend our Insights tour to Career Advisors and Job Coaches to visit The Bristol to learn more about how they can help people plan a future in Hospitality. We have recognised the different needs of the work placement candidates so we can ensure their time with us has been of benefit. We have designed a work experience programme that supports the person to learn and master new skills, contribute to the operation of the hotel and gain a full understanding of the different departments and roles within the hotel and to this end we have achieved the INSPIRE accreditation from Springboard.
